Youth Choir: Wednesdays 5 - 6 p.m.               Parish Choir: Wednesdays 7 - 9 p.m.
Teen Choir: 2nd, 4th Sundays 3 - 4:45 p.m.   Cantors: Once a month on a Wednesday

MUSIC MINISTRY NOTES

The Music Ministry is an opportunity to pray twice, improve musicianship, make lasting friendships, and return to God the talents He has bestowed to us.

Youth Choir- All children in the parish, grades 1-5 are welcome to join us at the 9:00 family mass each Sunday from Sept. 19th-June 19th.

Teen Choir- All teens in the parish, grades 6-12 are welcome to join us at the Sunday 5:00 mass the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. We practice from 3:00-4:45 p.m. and then share our music with the parish at mass that evening. Teens that sing or play instruments are welcome to join us! We begin Oct. 10th and end the beginning of May.

Parish Choir- The Parish Choir is a mixed four part choir. Our repertoire consists of a wide variety of styles from classical pieces to contemporary hymns. We welcome all parishioners  to join us on Sundays at the 10:30 liturgy.

Cantors- St. Martin de Porres offers the parish seven Sunday masses each weekend. Our music ministry volunteers lead the congregation in song at each mass.

The Christmas music schedule is as follows:

* The Youth Choir sings at the 4:00 p.m. mass on Christmas Eve beginning
   at 3:30 with a concert of Christmas hymns.
* The Teen Choir sings at the 6:00 p.m. mass on Christmas Eve.
* The Parish Choir sings for the Midnight Mass beginning at 11:30 pm with a
   Christmas concert.
